Nippon Gases UK & Ireland seeks a Process Efficiency and Automation Leader based in Madrid to drive digital transformation across Europe. You will identify opportunities for automation, lead workshops, and build business cases leveraging Power Platform, Power BI, RPA, and AI technologies to deliver measurable value.

You will collaborate with IT, Digitalization, and external partners, shaping the European roadmap and promoting cross-regional replication of successful solutions.

Formación

  • Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Analytics, or similar.
  • 5+ years of experience in digital transformation, automation, or business technology.
  • Experience managing business-facing digital projects.

Responsabilidades

  • Own the European Admin Next Gen portfolio.
  • Identify digitalization opportunities across Finance, Procurement, HR, Operations, Compliance, and Shared Services.
  • Lead discovery workshops and process assessments.
  • Build business cases and value calculations for automation projects.
  • Deploy PowerBI solutions, Microsoft Power Platform solutions, RPA technologies, Agentic AI solutions, Generative AI initiatives.
  • Coordinate with IT and Digitalization teams to ensure alignment with architecture, security, and governance requirements.
  • Manage external developers and implementation partners.
  • Define and maintain the European digital transformation roadmap.
  • Promote replication of successful digital solutions across regions.
  • Establish governance, KPI monitoring, and benefits tracking.

Process Efficiency and Automation Leader

Job description

Nippon Sanso Holdings Corporation (NSHD) is one of theleading companies in the industrial and medical gases business. We have a diversified involvement in broadindustries such as healthcare, food, manufacturing, metallurgy, chemicalproducts, electronics and energy.

The Process Efficiency & Automation Leaderwill be based in Madrid, EuropeanHeadquarters, and will be part of the Competitive Edge Europe Department, directly reporting to the Competitive EdgeDirector.

Therole will identify, prioritize, and deploy scalable digital solutionsleveraging Power Platform, Power BI, workflow automation, RPA, AI, Agentic AI,and emerging technologies to improve productivity, reduce administrativeworkload, and generate sustainable business value. Furthermore, they will leadthe Admin Next Gen program and drive the digital transformation ofadministrative processes across Europe. Thisposition will act as the primary interface between Business Functions,Digitalization, IT, and external development partners.

Key Responsibilities

The key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Ownthe European Admin Next Gen portfolio.
  • Identifydigitalization opportunities across Finance, Procurement, HR, Operations,Compliance, and Shared Services.

Job requirements

Background:

  • Degreein Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Analytics,or similar.
  • 5+years of experience in digital transformation, automation, or businesstechnology.
  • Experiencemanaging business-facing digital projects.

Required Skills:

  • Hands-onexperience with Microsoft Power Platform Solutions and RPA technologies.
  • Stronganalytical and data-driven mindset.
  • Abilityto translate business needs into scalable digital solutions.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experiencewith Process Mining and AI-based solutions.
  • Microsoftcertifications.
  • Experiencewith Copilot, AI Agents, Azure AI, or similar technologies.
  • Experiencemanaging digital product portfolios.
  • Exposureto manufacturing or industrial environments.
