Nippon Gases Madrid European Headquarters seeks a Process Improvement Engineer to accelerate deployment of engineering and operational excellence initiatives across Europe. You will identify high-value projects, develop replication roadmaps and work with plant managers to deploy proven solutions, aiming for sustainable savings.

The role requires leading improvement programs in production, maintenance, energy efficiency and process optimization, with strong analytical and stakeholder management

Formación

  • Degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering or similar.
  • 8+ years of experience in industrial operations, engineering, continuous improvement or plant management.
  • Experience leading engineering improvement projects with measurable savings.

Responsabilidades

  • Identify high-value engineering and operational initiatives for replication across Europe.
  • Develop replication roadmaps for ASUs, PAG plants, production sites and logistics operations.
  • Collaborate with plant managers, operations and maintenance teams to deploy proven solutions.
  • Evaluate technical feasibility and scalability before European deployment.
  • Standardize best practices and technical methodologies across sites.
  • Track project execution, savings delivery and performance.

Process Improvement Engineer

Job description

Nippon Sanso Holdings Corporation (NSHD) is one of theleading companies in the industrial and medical gases business. We have a diversified involvement in broadindustries such as healthcare, food, manufacturing, metallurgy, chemicalproducts, electronics and energy.

The Process Improvement Engineer will be based in Madrid, EuropeanHeadquarters, and will be part of the Competitive Edge Europe Department, directly reporting to the Competitive EdgeDirector.

The Process Improvement Engineer willaccelerate the deployment of proven engineering and operational excellenceinitiatives across Nippon Sanso Europe. The role focuses on identifyingsuccessful projects implemented in ASUs, PAG plants, cylinder operations,filling stations, logistics, maintenance, energy efficiency, reliability, andproduction processes, and ensuring their effective replication across multiplesites and regions.

As part of the Competitive Edge team, this positionwill act as the bridge between European Value Stream Owners, Operations teams,Engineering, and regional leadership to maximize productivity improvements anddeliver sustainable savings.

Key Responsibilities

The key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Identifyhigh-value engineering and operational initiatives suitable forreplication across Europe.
  • Developreplication roadmaps for ASUs, PAG plants, production sites, logisticsoperations, and technical services.
  • Workdirectly with plant managers, operations teams, maintenance managers, andengineering departments to deploy proven solutions.
  • Supportthe implementation of:
  1. Energyoptimization projects
  2. Reliabilityimprovement initiatives
  3. Predictiveand preventive maintenance programs
  4. Processoptimization projects
  5. Capacityand yield improvements
  6. Assetperformance enhancement initiatives
  7. Technicalcost reduction programs
  • Evaluatetechnical feasibility and scalability of projects before Europeandeployment.
  • Standardizebest practices, technical methodologies, and implementation approaches.
  • Trackproject execution, savings delivery, and operational performance.
  • Facilitatecross-regional knowledge transfer and technical workshops.
  • SupportEuropean Value Stream Owners in achieving the company's replicationobjectives.
Job requirements

Background:

  • Degreein Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering,Process Engineering, or similar.
  • Aprox.8 years of experience in industrial operations, engineering, continuousimprovement, or plant management.
  • Experienceleading engineering improvement projects with measurable savings.
