Nippon Gases Madrid European Headquarters invites applications for a Legal & Compliance Intern as part of the Early Talents Program. You will be integrated into the European Legal team and report to the European Legal Manager.

The role covers contracts, compliance initiatives, due diligence in M&A, governance documentation, AI-related reviews, and cross-border coordination across European offices.

Formación

  • Bachelor's Degree in Law (final year students may apply) or related postgraduate studies.
  • Proficient in Word and PowerPoint; interest in digital tools and AI solutions.
  • Fluent English, written and spoken; additional European languages are a plus.
  • Well organised, proactive with strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to multitask in an international environment.
  • No prior professional experience required; academic projects or internships valued.

Responsabilidades

  • Support review, organisation and follow-up of contracts and legal documentation.
  • Support compliance initiatives, awareness campaigns, training materials and questionnaires.
  • Assist with due diligence in M&A projects and post-acquisition integration matters.
  • Assist with preparation and maintenance of corporate governance documentation.
  • Assist in the legal/compliance review of AI-related initiatives.
  • Coordinate information with colleagues across European countries and functions.

Legal & Compliance Intern - Early Talents Program
Job description

Nippon SansoHoldings Corporation (NSHD) is one of the leading companies in the industrialand medical gases business. We have adiversified involvement in broad industries such as healthcare, food,manufacturing, metallurgy, chemical products, electronics and energy.

The Legal & Compliance Intern will be based inMadrid, European Headquarters, and will be part of the European Legal team, reporting to the European Legal Manager.

Main Responsibilities

The selectedintern will support the European Legal and Compliance team, gaining practicalexposure to an international legal and compliance function and contributing tothe preparation, organisation and follow-up of key projects and initiatives.Responsibilities include:

  • Support the review, organisation and follow-up of contracts and other legal documentation.
  • Support compliance initiatives, including awareness campaigns, training materials, policy communications and internal questionnaires.
  • Assist with legal support in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) projects, including due diligence activities, document review and post-acquisition integration matters.
  • Assist with the preparation and maintenance of corporate governance documentation.
  • Assist in the legal and compliance review of AI-related initiatives.
  • Help coordinate information and documentation with colleagues across different European countries and business functions.
Job requirements
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Law (final year students may also apply), Master's Degree in Law, Access to the Legal Profession Programme, or other postgraduate studies related to Law, Compliance, Corporate Governance or similar fields.
  • Good command of Microsoft Office (particularly Word and PowerPoint) and interest in digital tools and AI solutions.
  • Fluent English (written and spoken); additional European languages are a plus.
  • Well organised, proactive and eager to learn, with strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively in an international environment while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.

No prior professional experience required, althoughacademic projects or internships in analytics or data‑related roles will bevalued.
