Nippon Gases is seeking an IT Integration Intern based in Madrid, at our European Headquarters, reporting to the IT Integration Architect.

You will support the Integration Team to improve the quality, reliability and operational efficiency of the integration platform, with exposure to API-led integration and monitoring activities.

Formación

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT-related field or currently pursuing
  • Basic knowledge of software development and programming concepts
  • Interest in APIs, integration technologies or DevOps is a plus

Job description

The IT Integration Intern will be based in Madrid, European Headquarters, and will be part of the European IT team, reporting to the IT Integration Architect.

Main Responsibilities

The selected intern will support the IntegrationTeam, helping the team improve the quality, reliability and operationalefficiency of the integration platform.

Responsibilities include:

  • Learn and develop skills in Integration Platform,MuleSoft and API-led integration, supported by the Integration Team,gaining practical knowledge of APIs, integration patterns and enterpriseintegration architecture.
  • Participate in API quality reviews, helpingidentify areas for improvement such as error handling, logging levels(DEBUG, INFO, ERROR), exception management and observability.
  • Support the monitoring and analysis of ourintegration platform, reviewing application logs, errors and exceptions toidentify recurring issues and opportunities for improvement.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives,working with the team to propose and track technical improvements acrossexisting integrations.
  • Support the documentation and standardization ofIntegration Team procedures, including incident management, productiondeployments, monitoring, troubleshooting and other operational processes.
Job requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’sDegree in any qualification in IT: Software Development, Computer Systems,Telecommunications or a related technology field. Candidates currentlypursuing or recently graduated from a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree inComputer Science, Software Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, InformationTechnology or a related technical field are also welcome.
  • Basicknowledge of software development and/or programming concepts.
  • Familiaritywith APIs, .NET, integrationtechnologies, cloud platforms or DevOps tools would be an advantage, butis not required.
  • Good level of English and Spanish, with the ability to communicate and work in an international environment.
  • Strong willingness to learn and develop technically.
  • Analytical mindset, curiosity, attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Proactive attitude and ability to work collaboratively within an international IT team.

No prior professional experience required, althoughacademic projects or internships in analytics or data‑related roles will be valued.
