Job summary

BUCHI Laboratory Equipment is seeking a regional sales leader for Iberica (Spain and Portugal) to drive growth, optimize territory performance, and elevate customer experience. You will build and coach the sales team, develop regional strategies, and partner with Marketing and Service to execute campaigns and initiatives.

In this role, you will manage forecasts, identify new market opportunities, and foster key account relationships.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in sales management or business management in a technical/scientific environment.
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams including Sales, Technical Support, Service, Inside Sales, and/or Marketing.
• Strong commercial mindset with strategic thinking and execution capabilities.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to travel extensively within the region (approximately 50%).

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop the Iberica sales organization with focus on sustainable growth.
• Develop regional sales and growth strategies, forecasts, and ongoing regional development.
• Identify new market opportunities and cultivate new and existing customer relationships.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Service, and internal teams to optimize customer experience and run targeted campaigns.
• Monitor market and competitive developments and implement measures to increase market share.
• Ensure CRM, reporting, and sales processes are used efficiently and improved.
• Promote regional cooperation with Area Business Managers in France and support long-term sales strategy.
