Job summary

UL Solutions is seeking an Application Support Developer for a hybrid role based in Europe. You will resolve complex incidents, maintain and enhance existing software, and automate workflows to ensure stable performance.

Responsibilities include 2nd/3rd line support, release management, and proactive monitoring. Candidates should have strong programming, SQL, and ITIL/Agile experience, with a bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or a related field.
• Proficiency in programming languages (Java, Python, JavaScript, PHP, or .NET).
• Strong SQL skills for querying and debugging databases.
• Experience in application support or software development.
• Excellent communication in Agile/ITIL environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide 2nd/3rd line technical support and troubleshoot complex issues.
• Maintain, debug, and enhance existing applications.
• Monitor performance and optimize system availability.
• Assist with release management and environment control.
• Automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency.
