Deel is seeking an Operations Manager to own automation and AI-powered workflows across our global payroll processes. You will manage projects end-to-end, build dashboards, and surface insights for leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of operations experience in fast-paced environments.
• Comfortable building with AI tools and troubleshooting workflows.
• Engineering background or equivalent technical exposure.
• Experience mentoring small to mid-sized teams.
• KPI-driven with proven performance improvements.
• Exposure to process automation and operational tooling.
• Background in FinTech, consulting, banking, or startups.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into insights (SQL a plus).
• Collaborative team player with high energy and bias for action.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operational workflows and identify efficiency improvements.
• Support automation initiatives to reduce manual processes and improve speed.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to streamline tools and processes.
• Ensure adherence to controls, compliance requirements, and risk management.
• Contribute to fraud prevention and regulatory alignment efforts.
• Monitor operational performance metrics and escalate gaps to leadership.
• Drive customer-focused process improvements to enhance turnaround times.
• Expand self-service options to reduce manual support.
• Implement regular feedback loops to capture insights and inform improvement.
• Coordinate operational readiness for new product or market launches.
• Assist with go-to-market initiatives by removing bottlenecks.
• Track and report operational outcomes with leadership insights.
• Execute operational projects and strategic initiatives with senior leaders.
