Job summary

RemotePass is seeking a Product Manager, AI to own how AI shows up across RemotePass, from early experiments to production features used by customers running global payroll, compliance, and payments. You'll sit in the Product & Operations team and work directly with the CEO, engineers, and operators. This isn't a typical PM role.

The challenge isn't adding AI. It's making AI useful in messy, high-stakes workflows where a wrong answer can mean a missed payroll or a compliance breach.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in product management in fast-moving environments.
• Experience with AI- or data-heavy products; production readiness.
• Hands-on with engineers: writing specs and experimentation.

Responsibilities

• Set AI product direction for core platform.
• Decide what to automate and where humans stay in control.
• Make data usable for payroll, compliance, and payments.
• Turn customer problems into concrete product decisions.
• Balance speed, accuracy, and trust in AI workflows.
• Ship, test, and scale with engineering to move from early stage to scalable.
