Job summary

Lognext is seeking an Application Production Support Analyst for a leading multinational financial client in Madrid. The role focuses on owning incidents end-to-end, coordinating with Business, Operations and Development teams, and performing root-cause analysis to implement effective fixes.

You will work in a collaborative, international environment with a strong emphasis on service quality, monitoring, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Investigate incidents and propose practical solutions.
• Own incidents end-to-end from discovery to resolution.
• Coordinate with Business, Operations, Development and other teams.

Responsibilities

• Own incidents from initial investigation through resolution, keeping users informed throughout the lifecycle.
• Act as the functional point of contact for the assigned application portfolio and coordinate interactions between Business, Operations, Development and other application teams.
• Investigate functional and technical application issues using logs, application data and monitoring information.
• Perform root-cause analysis and define corrective actions or suitable workarounds.
• Assess business impact and contribute to action plans during and after production incidents.
• Support production releases, deployments and operational-readiness activities.
• Produce operational reporting and improve service visibility and transparency.
• Identify recurring issues and contribute to Problem Management activities.
• Maintain and enrich the knowledge base, operational procedures and documentation.
• Support knowledge-transfer activities, project handovers and cross-functional continuous-improvement initiatives.
