Factorial HR is seeking a founding engineer to shape a new AI-centric spinoff. You will own major initiatives, define quarterly roadmaps, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ship usable AI features in a cloud-native stack. You’ll lead design discussions, mentor others, and contribute to performance and architecture decisions.

The role combines fast execution with thoughtful, scalable design, in an environment that values impact and continuous learning.

Formación

• 4+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience shipping AI-powered features.
• Proficiency with Ruby on Rails backend and React frontend.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and experience building from scratch.
• Ability to translate probabilistic AI outputs into actionable guidance.
• Ability to explain complex technical decisions to non-technical audiences.

Responsabilidades

• Own large initiatives and quarterly roadmaps.
• Collaborate to build AI-integrated features in Ruby on Rails + React/TypeScript.
• Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge.
• Review code daily and provide feedback across the team.
• Participate in customer calls to understand pains and needs.
