Factorial is launching a brand-new spinoff inside Factorial, recruiting a Founding Engineer to shape the early product and team in Barcelona. You’ll own core initiatives, move fast, and balance shipping AI features with robust reliability and user focus.

You’ll work in a small, scrappy team with day-one runway, collaborating across backend in Ruby on Rails and frontend in React or TypeScript while designing scalable cloud-native architectures. This is the chance to build from scratch.

Formación

• 4+ years in software engineering
• Shipped AI-powered features or experiments
• Ability to explain technical decisions in English to non-technical stakeholders

Responsabilidades

• Own big initiatives as Founding Engineer
• Participate in customer calls to learn pains and needs
• Review code daily and provide feedback across the team
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team learning
