Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Remote Technical Services Specialist for the Hugo robotic system and DS1 AI-powered platform. You will support HCPs, SUS, and FSEs, handle escalations, and drive continuous improvement from a remote setting with some international on-site training.

The role requires a biomedical/electrical/mechanical engineering background, 4+ years of experience, and fluency in Portuguese, English, and Italian. A remote, international scope with an incentive plan is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in (biomedical/electrical/mechanical) engineering with relevant experience.
• Fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian (C1/C2) required.
• Experience with robotics or motion control in large capital equipment.
• Highly organized with ability to multitask and prioritize.
• Experience analyzing technical issues for continuous improvement.
• Experience with software troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support for Hugo system and DS1 to HCP/SUS/FSE and act as a liaison.
• Drive escalation to resolve issues and initiate field service when needed.
• Collaborate with other specialists to troubleshoot complex requests.
• Perform technical activities requiring judgment and own improvement projects.
• Ensure documentation and entries are complete promptly.
• Focus on remote support with occasional on-site training (domestically and internationally).
• Regular hours 8:00-16:30 CET; on-call 7AM-7PM rotation.
