Julius Baer is seeking an experienced application support specialist to lead 2nd line operations for core banking applications in Madrid. You will manage incident tickets, coordinate across IT teams and business stakeholders, and take part in periodic on-call duty and weekend releases.

The role requires IT-savvy candidates with Unix/Linux and Windows server knowledge, Java app server experience, and a mindset for process optimization and documentation.

Formación

• 2+ years of professional experience in application support.
• Good Unix know-how and shell scripting are advantages.
• Knowledge of Windows OS at server level; familiarity with Java app server and database is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Provide 2nd line support for core banking applications within SLAs.
• Process incident tickets generated by monitoring systems and local service desk.
• Coordinate between incident managers, service owners, 3rd-level support and IT/Business teams.
• Participate in weekend releases and on-call duty (weekly 7x24).
• Maintain operation documentation and participate in change requests for application processes.
