UST España & Latam in Madrid seeks an Application Operations Support professional to maintain core banking applications and to manage 2nd level incidents. The role offers a hybrid work model (3 days in the office, 2 days remote) and close collaboration with global teams.

The candidate will handle incident tickets, coordinate with multiple stakeholders, and participate in weekend releases. English is essential; German is a plus, with potential banking experience a bonus.

Formación

• Professional experience in application support.
• Good Unix know-how; shell scripting is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Windows OS at server level.
• Knowledge of Java application server / database / AWA is an advantage.
• Good written and spoken English; German an advantage.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure operation of core banking applications in 2nd level support.
• Process incident tickets from monitoring systems and local service desk within SLAs.
• Coordinate communication between incident managers, service owners, 3rd-level support and stakeholders.
• Takeover of periodical on-call duty (weekly 7x24).
• Administer change requests for application-related processes.
• Participate in periodic releases on weekends.
• Engage in projects on operational aspects for existing or new integrations.
• Process optimization and automation of repetitive tasks including handover to L1.
