Job summary

Join Grand Hyatt Barcelona as a Banqueting Trainee (Internship) to gain hands-on experience in administrative and operational functions of the Banqueting department. You will support planning and execution of meetings, conferences, social events, and banquets in a fast-paced luxury hotel environment.

This 6-month internship offers exposure to corporate and social events, cross-department collaboration, and the opportunity to develop in a world-class hospitality brand.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a university degree program in a related field.
• Willingness to complete a 6-month internship.
• Interest in hospitality operations and event management.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and operational support to the Banqueting department.
• Assist with event coordination, logistics, documentation and reporting.
• Collaborate with multiple hotel departments to deliver luxury event experiences.
• Support scheduling, documentation control and inventory-related tasks.
• Participate in data analysis and contribute to decision-making.
