Grand Hyatt Barcelona is seeking a motivated Guest Services Trainee to join our Front Office team. This internship offers hands-on experience in a luxury setting, supporting the front desk and guest services while developing communication and service skills.

You will rotate across departments, work with a multicultural team, and participate in training sessions to deliver exceptional guest experiences. Fluency in English and Spanish is preferred; university internship agreements may be required.

Qualifications

• Currently studying or recently graduated in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proficiency in English and Spanish (spoken and written); additional languages are highly valued.
• Previous customer service experience or exposure to luxury service environments is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsabilités

• Welcome guests upon arrival and create a positive first impression of the hotel.
• Support the check-in and check-out process under guidance of the Front Office team.
• Assist guests with requests, inquiries, and general information about the hotel and destination.
• Coordinate room assignments, amenities, VIP setups, and special requests.
• Maintain effective communication with Housekeeping, Concierge, and other departments.
• Monitor guest arrivals, departures, and preferences to anticipate guest needs.
• Assist in handling guest feedback and escalate concerns when necessary.
• Support preparation of welcome letters, room keys, and guest amenities.
• Participate in daily briefings, training sessions, and meetings.
• Represent the Grand Hyatt brand with professionalism and enthusiasm.
