Job summary

PayPal is seeking an Account Representative for SMB in Madrid to own front-end growth. You will generate and qualify opportunities from AI-assisted prospecting, marketing leads, and partner referrals, closing deals and onboarding merchants to transact.

It’s a fast-paced, high-volume role that feeds opportunities to the Account Management team after onboarding. You will build pipeline, prioritize high-value activities, and sell consultatively to small and medium businesses, with emphasis on

Qualifications

• 1+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Engage and collaborate with the immediate team.
• Acquire, manage, and expand relationships with small and medium-sized merchants.
• Build your own pipeline: self-source opportunities with AI-assisted prospecting alongside marketing-generated and partner-referred leads, win-backs, and qualify them fast.
• Prioritize ruthlessly to move the right deals quickly.
• Sell consultatively: understand each merchant’s business, diagnose needs, present PayPal proposition, and handle objections.
• Own the deal end to end and close it, then guide the merchant through going live and transacting.
