Job summary

Novo Nordisk in Bagsværd seeks Senior Outsourcing Manager or Associate Outsourcing Director to drive outsourcing projects and manage CMO collaborations, ensuring progress and high‑quality deliverables from initiation to completion.

Role requires leading cross‑functional teamwork across Novo and external partners, with strong stakeholder management and contract negotiation skills in a fast‑paced, global environment.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of experience in pharma, biotech, or another highly regulated industry.
• Strong understanding of the R&D value chain, drug development processes, and cGMP requirements.
• Experience with outsourcing, CMO/CDMO collaboration, and contract negotiations.
• Preferably, previous experience as a Project Manager, Alliance Manager, or similar role leading cross‑functional collaboration.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross‑functional collaboration with experts across Novo and external CMO partners globally.
• Manage outsourcing projects within drug product solutions across both oral and injectable formats.
• Select CMOs, negotiate and maintain agreements with Contract Managers, and build strong external partnerships.
• Protect Novo IP rights while ensuring timely delivery of high‑quality assessments.
• Facilitate cross‑organisational collaboration with Global Research, Quality, Regulatory, Purchasing, Manufacturing Development, and Commercial Manufacturing.
