FutureTech is seeking a skilled Sous Chef to join our upscale restaurant in the vibrant city of Aarhus. As a Sous Chef, you will work closely with the Head Chef to ensure smooth kitchen operations and uphold the high standards of food quality and presentation.

Responsibilities include assisting with menu planning, developing new dishes, leading and training kitchen staff, managing inventory and costs, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

• Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a fine dining restaurant.
• Deep knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, equipment and procedures.
• Strong leadership and ability to train junior chefs.
• Excellent time management in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Attention to detail for high food quality and presentation.

Sous Chef

We are seeking a skilled Sous Chef to join our team at our upscale restaurant in the vibrant city of Aarhus. As a Sous Chef, you will work closely with the Head Chef to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen and maintain the high standards of food quality and presentation.

• Assist the Head Chef in menu planning and developing new dishes
• Oversee and train kitchen staff in food preparation, cooking techniques, and plating
• Ensure that all dishes are prepared according to recipes and quality standards
• Manage inventory and control costs by proper portioning and waste management
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a fine dining restaurant
• In-depth knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train junior chefs
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail for maintaining high food quality and presentation standards
• Degree or diploma in Culinary Arts or relevant field is preferred
• Knowledge of Danish cuisine is an asset
