Job summary

Novonesis seeks a Principal AI Governance Analyst to own the operational foundation for AI governance across our global organization. You will connect regulatory expectations, technology and business needs, creating governance that is robust yet practical to support experimentation and adoption.

You will work with Legal, Cybersecurity, IT Compliance and business teams to translate requirements, run governance forums and maintain an enterprise catalog of AI systems.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in governance, risk, compliance or data governance.
• Working knowledge of AI governance frameworks and the EU AI Act.
• Practical understanding of AI and enterprise IT to collaborate with engineers and security teams.
• Experience facilitating governance forums and turning discussions into decisions.
• Experience maintaining governance documentation and inventories.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve the AI governance framework, standards and docs.
• Translate EU AI Act and regulatory requirements into internal standards and controls.
• Coordinate risk, security and compliance assessments for AI initiatives.
• Define governance approaches for AI platforms and tools with relevant teams.
• Manage AI governance forums, decisions, and documentation cadence.
• Maintain an enterprise catalogue of AI systems and solutions with classification criteria.
• Develop guidelines for scaling AI responsibly, including access, ownership and cost considerations.
• Own AI usage monitoring and reporting to support governance decisions.
