Job summary

Novo Nordisk is seeking a Principal Data Scientist for the Commercial AI & Data department to design, develop and deploy advanced AI and ML solutions across the enterprise. You will shape data strategy and partner with business leaders to deliver impact across the value chain.

You will mentor senior data scientists, lead cross-functional programs, and stay at the forefront of AI advances while ensuring responsible and compliant approaches in a regulated healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in data science, CS, stats, math, or related field; PhD preferred.
• At least 10 years in data science/AI with advanced algorithms.
• Proven track record of innovation and thought leadership.
• Ability to translate research into business value.
• Experience shaping enterprise data strategies and AI roadmaps.
• Pharma or regulated industries experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define Data Science Strategy and roadmap.
• Collaborate with executives to align AI initiatives with business priorities.
• Lead innovation in AI, ML and advanced analytics.
• Serve as Technical Authority for data science.
