We are looking for a detail-oriented and creative Retail Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will act as the crucial link between La Cabra HQ’s retail design vision and daily operational execution across our café and bakery locations worldwide. You will take ownership of visual merchandising standards, retail shop performance, inventory coordination, and the execution of digital retail guidelines.

Visual Merchandising & Store Standards

• Oversee and audit retail displays across all operating locations to ensure strict adherence to La Cabra’s visual and brand guidelines.

• Distribute and implement monthly Digital Retail Overviews detailing seasonal updates, signage placements, and product layouts.

• Conduct weekly meetings with General Managers and provide structured operational feedback.

• Ensure proper signage, price tags, and promotional materials are standardized and consistently maintained across all locations.

Quality Control & Reporting

• Generate regular retail performance reports highlighting compliance levels, and strategic recommendations for management.

• Act as the primary point of contact for store leadership regarding operational issues and governance of La Cabra standards.

• Report on monthly meetings with relevant input and solutions.
  

Retail Performance, Store Launch & Rollout Support

• Monitor retail sales metrics, product mix balance, and PAR levels for coffee, ceramics, brewing equipment, and merchandise.

• Collaborate with local General Managers to optimize retail stock rotation, prevent stock-outs, and minimize waste.

• Manage retail project to align with product launches and campaign rollouts globally.

• Support new store openings through weekly meetings with General Managers, ensuring operational milestones are reached.

• Work cross-functionally with Roastery, Logistics and Marketing teams to ensure smooth rollouts for seasonal coffee releases and new retail products.

• Help push local development of cafe menus and bakery rollouts.
  

Ideal Candidate

• Experience: 1–3 years of experience in retail operations, visual merchandising, or café management within specialty coffee or premium retail sectors.

• Aesthetic Eye: Strong appreciation for minimalist design, meticulous attention to detail, and alignment with La Cabra’s visual identity.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency with POS systems (Shopify/Square), inventory management tools, Notion, and digital overview tools (Figma).

• Communication & Leadership: Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide clear, constructive guidance to store teams.

• Adaptability: Ability to balance strategic administrative tracking with personal follow ups to international partners.

• Languages: Fluent in English (written and verbal); additional language capabilities relevant to operational markets are a plus.
