Job description

As a Merchandiser you will be responsible for planning and executing merchandise displays and promotions in retail stores You will work closely with the sales and marketing team to ensure that products are displayed in an appealing and strategic manner to attract customers and drive sales

This is a contract position with a salary of 1300$ per month with the added benefit of accommodation provided

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop merchandising strategies for various product lines
• Plan and execute product displays in accordance with company standards and guidelines
• Ensure that products are stocked displayed and priced accurately
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate any stock shortages or issues to relevant parties
• Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends competitor activities and customer preferences
• Work with store managers to implement promotional campaigns and events
• Train store staff on proper product placement techniques
• Maintain visual standards of the store by regularly organizing and restocking shelves

Requirements

• Prior experience as a Merchandiser or similar role in the retail industry is preferred but not required
• Good understanding of visual merchandising principles and techniques
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail
• Flexibility to work on weekends or extended hours when needed
• Must have a biometric passport for international travel
