Job summary

Botané ApS in Copenhagen is seeking an ambitious Store Manager to lead our flagship store and continuously elevate the in-store experience. You will oversee daily operations, manage a small team, and ensure every touchpoint reflects Botané’s refined aesthetic and brand values.

You will collaborate with our HQ to host local events, product launches, and influencer activations, while driving sales, stock control, and KPI performance. A passion for design and high-end customer service is essential.

We are looking for an ambitious, detail-oriented Store Manager to lead our Botané store in Copenhagen and continue to develop and elevate the in-store experience.

This is an opportunity to take on a role in a fast-growing brand that is redefining how botanical elements live within modern interiors.

Botané operates at the intersection of interior design and modern aesthetics. We create botanical compositions designed to last — offering a considered alternative to traditional, perishable flowers.

At Botané, botanical design is approached as an interior discipline. Each piece is developed with the same intention as furniture or objects, focusing on proportion, texture, and spatial balance. Our compositions are not decorative add-ons, but integrated elements that shape the atmosphere of a space — calm, cohesive, and enduring.

As Store Manager, you will be responsible for leading our flagship store in Copenhagen. You will oversee daily operations, develop and lead a small team, and ensure that every aspect of the store reflects Botané’s aesthetic standards and brand values. Working closely with our HQ at Højbro Plads, you will deliver a refined and consistent brand experience to both local clients and international visitors.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead store operations: You’ll take full ownership of the day-to-day operations, including sales, team leadership, stock management, and reporting.
• Build and lead the team: Hire, train, and coach a small, dedicated team of team members who share our values and attention to detail.
• Deliver aesthetic excellence: Ensure the store is always visually aligned with the brand and season, from the flowers to the displays.
• Customer experience: Create a welcoming, inspiring atmosphere that makes every guest feel at home in the world of Botané.
• Local activation: Collaborate with HQ on local events, product launches, and community-driven activations in the space.
• Stock and product management: Ensure product is merchandised with care and that we always have the right pieces in stock to meet demand.
• Influencer collaborations: Utilize quieter moments in-store to coordinate and execute influencer collaborations, ensuring the brand remains visible, relevant, and consistently expressed across digital platforms.
• Be a brand ambassador: Represent Botané with professionalism, warmth, and a sharp sense of taste — always.

Our Ideal Candidate

• You have previous experience in a retail management role; ideally in lifestyle, interior, fashion or concept retail.
• You are highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented.
• Has a strong eye for aesthetics and a feel for composition
• You understand how to create a high-end customer experience and love working with people.
• You care deeply about aesthetics and design.
• You’re confident working with numbers, goals, and commercial KPIs.
• Experience or strong interest in working with influencer collaborations
• You’re fluent in Danish and English (written and spoken).
• You are based in Copenhagen and ready to start ASAP.
