Qualifications

  • Strong commercial mindset with analytical and financial understanding.
  • Ability to translate complex data into actionable recommendations.
  • Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.
  • Advanced Excel and BI/reporting tool experience.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Highly organized with ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyse retail performance across the global store network, identifying opportunities, risks, and trends.
  • Track KPIs like sales, traffic, conversion, AOV, units per transaction, productivity, profitability, and client metrics.
  • Develop dashboards, business reviews, and presentations for decision-making.
  • Assist budgeting, forecasting, and target-setting with Retail and Finance.
  • Translate insights into actionable recommendations to improve store performance.
  • Collaborate with Retail leadership on commercial action plans.
  • Support stores and regional teams to improve sales and efficiency.
  • Coordinate cross-functional retail expansion and project initiatives.

Retail Performance Manager

YOUR MISSION & RESPONSIBILITIES AHEAD OF YOU

As Retail Performance Manager, you will play a key role in driving commercial performance and supporting the continued development of GANNI's global retail network. Working closely with Retail, Finance, Merchandising, Client Development, Retail Operations, and other key stakeholders, you will combine commercial analysis with cross-functional project management to support business growth.

You will monitor retail performance across the store network, identify opportunities to improve commercial results, and translate business insights into actionable initiatives. In addition, you will support retail expansion projects, including new store openings, relocations, franchise developments, and commercial business cases, ensuring projects are delivered in alignment with business priorities.

This is a highly collaborative role that combines analytical thinking, commercial understanding, and strong project management skills.

Responsibilities ahead of you:
Retail Performance & Business Analysis
  • Monitor and analyse retail performance across the global store network, identifying opportunities, risks, and commercial trends.
  • Track key performance indicators including sales, traffic, conversion, average transaction value, units per transaction, productivity, profitability, and client metrics.
  • Develop performance reporting, dashboards, business reviews, and presentations to support commercial decision-making.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and target-setting processes together with Retail and Finance.
  • Translate business insights into actionable recommendations that improve store performance.
Commercial Performance
  • Partner with Retail leadership to develop and follow up on commercial action plans.
  • Support stores and regional teams in improving sales performance, productivity, and operational efficiency.
  • Identify best practices and help implement initiatives that strengthen commercial performance across the retail network.
  • Work closely with Merchandising, Finance, Client Development, and Retail Operations to align commercial priorities.
Retail Expansion & Business Projects
  • Support retail expansion initiatives, including new store openings, relocations, outlet developments, and franchise projects.
  • Coordinate project timelines, stakeholders, and operational readiness across multiple functions.
  • Build business cases and commercial analyses to support investment decisions.
  • Support lease negotiations, CAPEX planning, and commercial presentations where relevant.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner closely with Retail, Finance, Merchandising, Retail Operations, Visual Merchandising, Client Development, and other HQ functions.
  • Present business insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • Contribute to strategic retail projects and continuous improvement initiatives across the business.
MUST HAVE REQUIREMENTS
  • 4-6 years of experience within retail performance, commercial planning, retail operations, business analysis, or a similar commercial role.
  • Experience working within an international, multi-store retail environment.
  • Experience from the fashion, lifestyle, premium, or luxury industry is an advantage.
  • Strong commercial mindset with excellent analytical and financial understanding.
  • Proven ability to translate complex data into actionable business recommendations.
  • Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with business intelligence and reporting tools.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
