Job summary

SmartConnect Qatar is seeking a skilled Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Roskilde restaurant, including staff supervision, budgeting, customer service and inventory management.

You will develop strategies to increase revenue, train staff, ensure health and safety standards, manage schedules, and collaborate with the chef on menus while delivering excellent guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Proven work experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar role in the food service industry.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience with POS and inventory management.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays.

Job description

We are hiring a skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant in Roskilde. As a Restaurant Manager you will be responsible for managing and supervising all aspects of the restaurant including staff budgeting customer service and inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective strategies to increase revenue and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
• Train and supervise staff members to ensure excellent customer service and adherence to company policies and procedures
• Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed to maintain adequate supplies at all times
• Manage employee schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours while controlling labor costs
• Oversee food preparation presentation and quality control to ensure consistency and compliance with health codes
• Handle customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally
• Create monthly reports on sales expenses and profits for upper management review
• Work closely with the chef to develop new menu items or make changes as needed
• Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate updates address any issues and motivate team members

Requirements

• Proven work experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar role in the food service industry
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team
• Excellent communication skills in English Danish is a plus
• Familiarity with restaurant management software eg POS systems
• Knowledge of food safety regulations
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Salary The salary for this position is 1200$ per month
