Job summary

Siemens Gamesa is seeking a Team Lead for the Offshore Blades Module to drive the strategy and performance of the blade engineering team. You will guide lifecycle management of blades and structural components, ensuring top quality and reliability for offshore wind projects.

You will mentor engineers, set KPIs, manage risks, and collaborate with other engineering managers to optimize resources and align activities with the design authority.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Materials Science, or related field.
• 3–5 years of wind turbine blade engineering or related field experience.
• 3–5 years of managerial or team-lead experience mentoring technical teams.
• Strong knowledge of composite materials and structural mechanics.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a blade engineering team.
• Ensure quality and performance of offshore blades and structural elements.
• Set KPIs and oversee team operations to meet budget and quality targets.
• Collaborate with other managers to optimize resources and align engineering strategies.
• Provide feedback to the Design Authority and support third-level service engineering.
