Job summary

Terma A/S seeks an Advanced Test Manager to lead testing for cutting-edge software in our Defense R&D unit. You will oversee test planning, execution, automation and collaboration with software engineers to secure product quality and reliability.

You will coordinate verification activities, drive CI/CD integration, and mentor a team of test engineers while advancing our testing practices across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software Engineering or a similar field.
• Certified in software testing principles (ISTQB, TMAP, or similar).
• Experience planning and leading test activities in software development.
• Experience testing complex systems.
• Knowledge of software development and fundamentals of software testing, and of system engineering, verification and validation.
• Understanding of agile development methods (Scrum) and test automation frameworks and tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan, monitor, and control the integration and verification of the system.
• Responsible for the Verification Master Plan.
• Point of contact for the verification effort.
• Plan and drive all test activities and ensure system meets standards.
• Support the integration of automated tests with the CI/CD pipeline.
• Contribute to a Test Community of Practice and share knowledge.
• Participate in process improvements to enhance testing efficiency.
