Qualifications

• 5–8 years in software safety engineering (or equivalent)
• Experience leading safety initiatives is a plus
• Strong knowledge of embedded real-time software and safety-critical architectures

Responsibilities

• Lead safety software assurance activities and create Safety Plans, V&V Plans, and Safety Cases
• Perform Hazard Analysis, FTA and FMEA; ensure SILs
• Ensure compliance with IEC 61508, MIL-STD-882E, DO-178C and related standards
• Collaborate with development, systems, and hardware teams to embed safety from design to test
