Job summary

Terma is seeking a Project Controller to join an international Finance team supporting projects across multiple locations, including Denmark, Germany, Austria and Romania. You will be the trusted financial partner to Project Managers, ensuring healthy project economics from start to finish and contributing to process improvements.

You should have a Master’s degree in a related field, strong Excel and analytical skills, and experience with project controlling and stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in HD(R), Finance, Finance Consulting, Management Accounting or similar field.
• Experience with project controlling and stakeholder management.
• Experience with standardization and automation of processes and procedures.
• Experience with reporting and project reporting preferred.
• Structured, proactive, and detail-oriented with strong Excel skills and analytical competencies.

Responsibilities

• Drive project controlling throughout the entire project lifecycle, ensuring orderbook, actuals and forecast are accurate and up to date.
• Prepare, maintain, and challenge project budgets, forecasts and Estimate to Complete (ETC).
• Monitor project financial performance by analyzing costs, revenue and profitability.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities for assigned projects.
• Partner closely with Project Managers as the trusted financial advisor, providing financial insights and supporting informed decisions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of project controlling, reporting quality, and standardization/automation of processes, tools, and ways of working.
