Job summary

Vestas seeks a senior risk leader to own and continuously improve the risk management framework, harmonizing processes and governance across our global organization to enable smarter decision-making.

You will drive reporting, training, and stakeholder engagement, ensuring alignment with audits and risk frameworks while delivering measurable value across regions.

Location: Aarhus, Denmark, with a strong collaboration across product lines to balance value creation with risk exposure.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of risk management experience in an OEM or industrial environment.
• Relevant certifications (CRISC, FRM, CIA) are an advantage.
• Excellent communication skills; fluent in English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the risk management framework, tools, methodologies, and documentation
• Harmonize and standardize risk processes, templates, and reporting across the value chain
• Manage framework deployment, training, communication, and user adoption activities
• Ensure alignment with governance and other enterprise risk-related processes
• Drive continuous improvement through lessons learned, user feedback, and process optimization
• Review and clarify risk roles, responsibilities, ownership, and accountability
• Support Risk Officers with consistent and effective risk reporting and serve as the primary contact for audits, customer discussions, and risk framework inquiries
