Job summary

Vestas is seeking a Senior Global HSE Systems & Risk professional to lead governance and management of critical risks across the organization. You will collaborate with senior leaders to drive risk reduction and ensure alignment with sustainability and safety standards.

The role focuses on developing HSE risk standards, governance practices, and external representation to uphold industry best practices, with travel and EU office presence as needed.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Risk Management, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Fluent ability in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the governance, development, and continuous improvement of Vestas' critical HSE risk framework, ensuring alignment with objectives and industry practice.
• Develop and implement risk standards, controls, and operational requirements, evaluating effectiveness and enabling improvements.
• Analyse complex and emerging risks, perform risk reviews, and translate technical concepts into practical business recommendations.
• Build business cases and value propositions to support investment decisions and risk reduction initiatives.
• Partner with regional and functional leaders to improve risk governance and promote collaboration across the organization.
• Engage and persuade stakeholders at all levels to secure alignment and deliver results.
• Represent Vestas in external forums and stakeholder engagements to align with high standards.
