Job summary

Vestas seeks a Portfolio Risk Repository Senior Manager to strengthen risk governance across our global wind energy portfolio. You will oversee the Risk Repository, ensure data quality, and guide risk identification from customer projects through to actionable insights.

This role demands collaboration with Risk Officers, regional teams, and executives to improve risk outcomes. The ideal candidate has a engineering/business background, hands-on wind project experience, and fluent English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's/MBA in Engineering or Business with commercial experience
• Experience in wind project execution or technical wind solutions
• Experience in product development, B2B product management, or similar
• Solid understanding of risk management frameworks and governance
• Fluent in English, written and spoken
• Strong governance, data quality, and process management
• Able to collaborate across functions and regions
• Structured, detail-oriented with focus on value creation

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent use of the Risk Repository across functions and regions
• Drive adherence to global risk framework standards with line management and risk officers
• Support Risk Officers in identifying, assessing and registering customer project risks
• Act as quality gatekeeper to ensure reliable risk data
• Monitor effectiveness of risk responses and controls
• Support reporting to management and governing bodies
• Act as contact for risk topics in deal preparation and execution
• Align regional risks with functional risk officers for repository inclusion
