Job summary

Vestas is seeking a senior professional to shape the governance of critical HSE risks on a global scale. You will develop standards, controls, and operational requirements, and run risk reviews to enable risk-informed decisions.

You will partner with regional leaders to improve governance, drive strategic risk reduction, and represent the company in external forums. Fluent English is required.

Qualifications

• Certifications in Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) management and complex incident investigations.
• Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Risk Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Fluent ability in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Oversee governance, development, and continuous improvement of Vestas' critical HSE risk framework.
• Develop and implement risk standards, controls, and operational requirements; evaluate effectiveness.
• Analyse complex and emerging risks; perform risk reviews and translate insights into business recommendations.
• Build business cases to support investments and risk-reduction initiatives; partner with leaders to improve governance.
• Engage and influence stakeholders at all levels to achieve alignment and results; represent Vestas externally.
