Job summary

Maersk is seeking a Global Client Manager for its Aid & Relief business in Denmark. You will own a portfolio of strategic customers, build long-term partnerships and coordinate Maersk’s global account teams to deliver sustainable growth.

Based in Aarhus or Copenhagen, you will engage across Ocean, Air, Landside, Warehousing and Customs to shape Maersk’s humanitarian offerings. The role requires leadership, cross-functional collaboration and international travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in global account management and strategic sales.
• Experience in logistics, supply chain, freight forwarding or shipping.
• Knowledge of Aid & Relief supply chains or donor-funded programmes is an advantage.
• Demonstrated ability to develop senior customer relationships and multi-country engagements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as global commercial owner for strategic Aid & Relief customers and prospects.
• Develop and execute global account plans and stakeholder strategies.
• Build trusted relationships with senior procurement, logistics and programme leaders.
• Identify and convert opportunities across end-to-end logistics portfolios.
• Lead tender strategy, contract negotiations and major customer opportunities.
• Coordinate cross-functional account teams to ensure consistent engagement.
• Translate humanitarian requirements into integrated Ocean, Air, Landside, Warehousing, Customs and Project Logistics solutions.
• Drive account governance, reviews, and profitability improvements.
