Job summary

BYD Europe is seeking a Denmark-based Sales professional to develop and execute strategies focused on retail stores. You will visit locations, train and motivate the sales team, and lead product demonstrations to drive performance.

The role reports to the Head of Sales Denmark and requires bilingual English/Danish communication, automotive industry experience, and willingness to travel frequently. Join us to expand BYD's retail footprint across Denmark.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
• Excellent English & Danish language skills.
• Previous experience working in the automotive industry with dealership sales.
• Strong oral and written Danish and English communication skills.
• Results-oriented with strong analytical skills.
• Problem solving attitude.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ready for frequent business travels.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies for Denmark, with a primary focus on visiting retail stores.
• Conduct regular visits to retail locations across Denmark to support and train the sales team.
• Lead by example with store visits, product demonstrations and sales support to drive sales performance.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key retail partners and foster loyalty to BYD's products.
• Collaborate with the sales team to identify new business opportunities in retail.
• Monitor competitor activities and market trends in the retail sector and provide insights.
• Set individual store-level sales targets and track progress.
• Provide regular reports to Head of Sales Denmark on retail performance and opportunities.
• Coordinate promotional activities and marketing campaigns at store level.
