Job summary

The Team

We are in the early stages of building up the Danish National Sales Company (NSC) of BYD Europe. As part of this journey, we are looking for a Business Operations & Analysis Specialist to support business performance monitoring, operational planning, and data-driven decision-making in Denmark, with potential involvement in other Nordic markets.

As a growing brand in a dynamic automotive market, we are committed to building efficient business operations, strengthening our local market presence, and delivering sustainable growth. Through close collaboration with our European and local teams, this role will contribute to improving operational efficiency, providing actionable business insights, and supporting the long-term development of BYD's passenger car business.

About the Role

The Business Operations & Analysis Specialist will support the monitoring and analysis of business performance, the preparation of management reports, and the coordination of key operational activities. Working closely with the local management team, sales, marketing, aftersales, and European headquarters, the role will help translate business data into actionable insights and support the effective execution of business plans.

Main Responsibilities

• Collect, consolidate, and analyze business data related to sales performance, vehicle deliveries, dealer network performance, inventory, market trends, and other key operational indicators.

• Prepare regular business reports, management dashboards, and performance presentations to support business reviews and decision-making.

• Monitor actual business performance against targets, identify deviations and potential risks, and provide timely analysis and recommendations to relevant stakeholders.

• Support the development and tracking of annual, quarterly, and monthly business plans, sales targets, and key performance indicators (KPIs).

• Analyze market developments, competitor activities, pricing trends, and industry data to identify business opportunities and support local business planning.

• Coordinate with sales, marketing, aftersales, supply chain, and other relevant teams to monitor the progress of key initiatives and ensure timely follow‑up on action plans.

• Support the analysis of dealer network performance, including sales results, inventory levels, order fulfillment, and other relevant operational metrics.

• Assist in establishing and improving business reporting processes, data management standards, and operational procedures to enhance accuracy, consistency, and efficiency.

• Support the preparation of business review meetings, including data consolidation, presentation materials, meeting coordination, and follow‑up on agreed actions.

• Work closely with the European team and relevant Nordic market stakeholders to align reporting requirements, share business insights, and support regional projects where required.

• Identify opportunities for process improvement through data analysis and cross‑functional collaboration, contributing to the development of efficient and scalable business operations.

Main Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Data Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

• Relevant experience in business analysis, business operations, sales operations, commercial planning, or a similar role; experience in the automotive industry is an advantage.

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to interpret business data and translate findings into practical recommendations.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Power BI, other business intelligence tools, or ERP/CRM systems is an advantage.

• Good understanding of business performance indicators, reporting processes, and operational planning.

• Excellent communication skills in English and Danish.

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining data accuracy and meeting deadlines.

• Proactive, structured, and results‑oriented, with the ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross‑functional and international teams.

• Adaptable and comfortable working in a developing business environment where processes and responsibilities may evolve.

• Interest in the automotive industry, electric mobility, and international business operations.
