• Spearhead a revolution of Ad Tech at Delivery Hero through the innovative application of cutting edge tools and techniques ranging from classical MLto deep neural networks and reinforcement learning, covering areas such as ad ranking, bidding strategies, booked budget increment and ad pacing driving uplifts in advertising revenue

• Analyse large-scale datasets to understand and identify opportunities deploying sophisticated statistical techniques to improve ad relevance, click-through rates, and conversion metrics.

• Lead research initiatives to explore emerging trends and technologies in AdTech and machine learning, contributing to the advancement of Delivery Hero's advertising products and algorithms. Remain at the forefront of industry and research developments incorporating new methodologies and best practices into our data science workflows and models.

• Serve as a subject matter expert in data science and machine learning, providing guidance and mentorship to other team members and fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the data science team.

• You are an industry-leading talent at modelling business problems using machine learning techniques covering feature engineering, model selection and design as well as evaluation and optimisation to deliver enormous value to the business.

• You raise the performance of other team members through effective and mature mentorship and constructive collaboration to benefit others from your deep understanding and experience of data science.

• You have extensive experience and expertise in building, training, evaluating and deploying CatBoost, GBM, XGB with a deep focus on EDA, feature engineering, feature selection and model optimisation

• Through the seamless use of SQL queries you are able to explore our data universe and gather data to support your analysis and the development of machine learning solutions.

• You write clean, production-level code and are able to effectively set up your environment to minimise testing loops influencing the entire team to work more efficiently and reliably.

• You are familiar with deploying and developing large-scale machine learning models to serve live traffic and experience collaborating with ML engineers in cloud systems, ideally GCP.

• You love to learn, are a critical thinker and creative problem solver who strives for excellence.

• You are a team player who loves to collaborate and work with stakeholders from a variety of teams in a diverse environment.
