Voice Data Collection – Noisy Background Conversation (Remote, Korea)
Job summary
A professional audio recording company is seeking native Korean speakers to participate in a short project recording conversations to improve AI speech technology. Participants will record natural conversations in a noisy environment, receiving clear instructions and training. The role requires a quiet yet naturally noisy setting, with mobile or computer access and English comprehension. Compensation details are not mentioned.
Qualifications
- Native Korean speaker (currently living in Korea preferred).
- Quiet but naturally noisy environment (e.g. café park office).
- Mobile phone or computer with microphone and stable internet connection.
- Ability to follow simple recording instructions in English.
- Must complete both roles (Host and Attendee) within the pair.
Responsibilities
- Join the project's recording platform via phone.
- Record one conversation (5-10 minutes) following the provided scenario.
- Maintain clear natural speech without reading from a script.
- Ensure background noise is present but does not overpower speech.
- Avoid overlapping speech and personal data.
Skills
We are looking for native speakers of Korean to participate in a short recording project that simulates real-life conversations in noisy environments. The recordings will help improve AI speech technology in diverse acoustic conditions.
Participants will work in pairs to record a 5-minute conversation using our online recording platform (Workbench). The conversation should sound natural and take place in a setting with consistent background noise (e.g. café office or home with TV / music playing).
You will receive clear setup instructions and short training before recording.

- Record one conversation (510 minutes) following the provided scenario.
- Maintain clear natural speech without reading from a script.
