Originating from groundbreaking research at the University of Western Australia and Curtin Universities, Sensear has perfected the combination of speech enhancement technology and noise suppression technology integrated with a complex series of patented algorithms, producing a cutting-edge innovation called SENS (Speech Enhancing Noise Suppression) Technology.

The Sensear products target a myriad of vertical markets globally, including oil & gas, mining, heavy industry / manufacturing, transportation, and utility markets, or any environment in which workers are exposed to unsafe high noise levels.

Sensear Opportunity :

As the European Regional Sales Manager, you have the opportunity to build a business in a high-growth market with substantial expansion opportunities. As the business grows within the region, this position will be responsible for building the future sales organization across EMEA and helping to define the future infrastructure for the region.

Sensear is looking to hire an energetic, technically savvy, and highly motivated senior Account Manager as a member of its growing global organization with a proven track record in industrial safety and communication products.

Reporting directly to the CEO, the Regional Account Manager has the responsibility for driving strategic relationships and revenue growth for the company with existing and new accounts. The ideal candidate must be self-motivated, driven, and have demonstrated sales leadership experience. This role will be responsible for driving sales across EMEA, working with senior-level decision makers, negotiating contracts, and providing product needs and developments back to the technical organization. Both internally and externally, this role will be expected to engage in multi-disciplinary teams including technical, marketing, sales, operations, and regulatory.

The Regional Account Manager must develop excellent working relationships with key customer stakeholders, foster and grow existing business, and establish new opportunities that result in aggressive growth for the company. Experience in system integrations and a strong technical acumen with demonstrated success in consultative selling in a high-growth market is required.

The ideal candidate must possess a strong technical acumen and interest, specifically related to the two-way radio and communication industry or other PPE devices with comparable channels and customers. The candidate must understand the technical implementation of communication accessories. Field sales experience calling on applicable industrial customers and/or distributors with proven success is required. This is a remote sales position requiring a minimum of 50% travel.

Roles and Responsibilities

This individual will be expected to focus on several objectives, including :

  1. Develop, implement and execute a sound account plan designed to achieve the growth and profitability goals established by the CEO.
  2. Drive the profitable revenue growth of the company by developing strong relationships with channel partners.
  3. Leverage existing business in large accounts to maximize share of wallet and saturation of existing customer base to capitalize on short-term revenue opportunities.
  4. Develop a strong pipeline of new accounts and opportunities based on targeted adjacencies to developed channels.
  5. Leverage the strong success with existing OEM partnerships.
  6. Expand relationships with regional distributors who have deep experience and credibility in various industrial segments.
  7. Collaborate with the CEO and marketing to develop and implement distributor programs to drive pull-through for products and YOY predictable growth through this channel.
  8. Collaborate with the CEO and marketing to establish targeted marketing campaigns and supporting sales collateral to deliver brand awareness growth and ultimately channel pull-through for Sensear products.
  9. Identify and lead key regional industry events.
  10. Responsible for regional revenue, budget, and profitability.
  11. Define regional business plan including sales and regional infrastructure needed to accelerate growth and partner support while leading the implementation of this plan upon approval.
  12. Define regional product needs and potential technology collaborations in the region.
  13. Facilitate system integration projects that require working knowledge of all devices in which Sensear devices must connect to facilitate end-user adoption. Working knowledge of intrinsically safe standards, two-way radios, and LTE devices is required.

The successful Regional Account Manager will have strong interpersonal, presentation, organizational, and planning skills. He/she will have a demonstrable track record of cultivating new prospects and opportunities and successfully converting those opportunities into high-growth accounts.

Our candidate must be highly motivated, goal-oriented, technically competent, and pragmatic, with the understanding and experience to lead a game-changing business.

Other key attributes include :

  • An undergraduate degree is preferred.
  • Successful sales leadership experience in technology-led businesses.
  • Industry experience in two-way or communication technologies, selling into industrial environments such as manufacturing, mining, oil & gas, timber, farming, and other sectors is preferred.
  • Experience building high-performance sales teams and fostering a culture of fast sales growth.
  • Proven commercial sales and business development instincts with a history of exploiting market opportunities to create significant enterprise value.
  • Experience calling on multi-national customers, understanding, and navigating complex value chains and regional distribution needs to grow the business.
  • Technically savvy with the ability to quickly learn and troubleshoot customer needs.
  • Extensive experience working through large channel partners and industrial end-users is required.
  • Experience building broad customer relationships with multiple influencers and decision-makers across continents to strengthen and maintain Sensear’s client position.
  • Emphasis on team and culture; ability to collaborate and lead as a vested leader, setting high-performance standards and accountability.
  • Proven track record of selling at the executive and C-Suite level.
