Die 10u30 GmbH sucht aktuell einen Junior Data Scientist (m/w/d), der/die die Möglichkeit hat, in einem innovativen Umfeld zu arbeiten und seine/ihre Fähigkeiten weiterzuentwickeln. Responsibilities:

1. You will look for new business opportunities involving machine learning: develop your own ideas and implement proof of concepts to test their feasibility and value.
2. You will develop machine learning models for supervised and partially unsupervised settings (e.g. high-dimensional, nonlinear regression & classification problems, clustering, time series analysis, optimization, NLP).
3. You will contribute to projects involving statistical modelling & advanced analytics (AB-Testing, Bayesian Inference).
4. You will closely cooperate with our data engineers and accompany our product owners and business stakeholders end-to-end.

Requirements:

1. You show a strong IT-affinity, strive to automate processes and maintain a scientific mindset.
2. Deep understanding of statistical & machine learning models e.g. through a degree in a quantitative discipline like economics, mathematics, computer science, or physics.
3. Curiosity, strong motivation and drive to find quantitative solutions to real world problems by exploring new tools.
4. Demonstrated advanced programming capabilities for data analysis and model development in at least one language. We mainly use Python but will happily support you if you are more proficient in Julia, R, Scala or SAS.
5. Ideally you are also familiar with SQL or another query language.
6. Familiarity with Agile methods (e.g. Scrum), optimally from a Data Science perspective, is a plus.
7. Expertise in cloud technologies for Natural Processing or Deep Learning is a plus.
