Job summary

QCG Computer GmbH is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Operator to coordinate daily warehouse operations in a manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for material readiness, inventory control and guiding shopfloor staff to maintain efficient workflows.

Applicants should have vocational training in logistics and several years of warehouse experience, with forklift certification and proficiency in ERP systems. Strong safety and quality awareness is essential.

Qualifications

• Completed vocational training in logistics, warehouse operations or an equivalent qualification.
• Several years of hands-on experience in warehouse or logistics operations.
• Experience coordinating daily tasks and guiding staff on the shopfloor.
• Strong understanding of inventory management and material flow.
• Experience with ERP or warehouse management systems.
• Forklift license and driving experience.
• High safety and quality awareness.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily warehouse operations to ensure efficiency, safety and timely handling.
• Track inventory, address discrepancies and support cycle counts.
• Receive, inspect and store incoming goods per quality standards.
• Assign tasks to warehouse staff and support shopfloor workflows.
• Ensure warehouse processes and layouts promote efficiency and material availability.
• Collaborate with production, logistics and purchasing to resolve bottlenecks.
• Support safety, environmental and quality regulations in daily operations.
• Onboard and guide warehouse employees on the shopfloor.
• Provide operational data for reporting and KPIs.

Your mission

• Coordinate and execute daily warehouse operations to ensure efficient, safe and timely material handling and storage.
• Track inventory levels in the warehouse, identify discrepancies and support cycle counts and stock checks.
• Receive, inspect, document and store incoming goods in line with internal quality standards.
• Assign and coordinate daily tasks for warehouse staff and actively support workflows on the shopfloor.
• Apply and follow warehouse processes and layouts to ensure efficiency, safety and material availability.
• Work closely with production, logistics and purchasing to ensure material readiness and resolve operational bottlenecks.
• Follow and promote compliance with all relevant safety, environmental and quality regulations in daily operations.
• Support, guide and onboard warehouse employees in their day-to-day tasks on the shopfloor.
• Collect and provide operational data to support reporting, KPIs and documentation.

Your profile

• Completed vocational training in logistics, warehouse operations or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of hands-on experience in warehouse or logistics operations, ideally in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Practical experience in coordinating daily tasks and guiding warehouse staff on the shopfloor.
• Good understanding of inventory management, material flow and day-to-day warehouse processes.
• Experience working with ERP or warehouse management systems in an operational environment.
• Strong hands-on mentality with a structured and reliable way of working.
• Must have a forklift license and driving experience.
• Ability to identify and resolve operational issues directly on the shopfloor.
• High awareness of safety, quality and process reliability in daily operations.
• Very good English and German skills, both spoken and written; Chinese language skills are a plus.
