Zusammenfassung

Jobtailor in Germany seeks a seasoned Clinical Director to lead behavioral health programs, shape clinical strategy, and drive performance improvement across multiple sites. You will partner with executive leadership on risk areas, emerging trends, and organizational development to ensure high-quality client outcomes.

You will oversee regional directors, implement evidence-based practices, and maintain compliance with OMHSAS, DDAP, and CARF standards while guiding audits and licensing

Qualifikationen

  • Master’s degree in a behavioral health-related field.
  • Licensure required: LCPC or LCSW-C.
  • 7–10 years of progressive clinical leadership experience in behavioral health or SUD settings.
  • Experience with regulatory bodies such as OMHSAS, DDAP, CARF, and other licensing authorities.
  • Experience leading multi-site or multi-state clinical operations preferred.
  • Experience with payer relations, outcomes measurement, and performance improvement initiatives strongly preferred.
  • Advanced clinical knowledge related to behavioral health and substance use disorder treatment modalities.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and drive informed, strategic decision-making.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage competing demands.
  • Capability to lead change, motivate teams, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Must provide own transportation and be able to lift up to 25 pounds.

Aufgaben

  • Provide leadership and oversight to regional and program-level Clinical Directors.
  • Lead implementation and fidelity monitoring of evidence-based practices and treatment models.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and accreditation requirements, including OMHSAS, DDAP, CARF, and state bodies.
  • Guide programs through audits, licensing renewals, and regulatory corrective actions.
  • Review, approve, and maintain clinical policies, protocols, and procedures.
  • Monitor clinical metrics such as engagement, length of stay, outcomes, and readmission rates.
  • Lead performance improvement initiatives and establish clinical performance indicators.
  • Mentor and develop clinical leaders and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Finance, Business Development, and Payer Relations.
  • Support payer negotiations and Value-Based Purchasing initiatives.
  • Travel to programs and meetings as needed.
  • Provide direct oversight, coaching, leadership development, and performance management for clinical leadership roles.

Develop and execute the organization’s clinical strategy to advance quality, outcomes, and operational performance
Provide leadership and oversight to regional and program-level Clinical Directors
Consult with the SVP and executive leadership on clinical operations, program development, risk areas, and emerging trends
Lead implementation and fidelity monitoring of evidence-based practices and treatment models, including ASAM and trauma-informed care
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and accreditation requirements, including OMHSAS, DDAP, CARF, and state accrediting bodies
Guide programs through audits, licensing renewals, and regulatory corrective actions
Review, approve, and maintain clinical policies, protocols, and procedures
Monitor clinical metrics such as engagement, length of stay, outcomes, and readmission rates
Lead performance improvement initiatives and establish clinical performance indicators, peer review processes, and corrective action plans
Evaluate program performance using data-driven methods
Mentor and develop clinical leaders and interdisciplinary teams
Support training, competency assessments, and credentialing processes
Collaborate with Operations, Finance, Business Development, and Payer Relations
Support payer negotiations and Value-Based Purchasing initiatives
Ensure efficient and ethical utilization of clinical resources while maintaining client safety
Identify behavioral health, substance use disorder treatment, and integrated care trends
Lead implementation of new clinical programs and technology solutions
Represent the organization at conferences, regulatory meetings, and external stakeholder collaborations
Maintain confidentiality and complete required trainings
Travel to programs and meetings as needed
Provide direct oversight, coaching, leadership development, and performance management for clinical leadership roles

Requirements
  • Master's Degree in a behavioral health-related field required (e.g., Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Nursing)
  • Licensure required: LCPC (Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor) OR LCSW-C (Licensed Clinical Social Worker-Clinical)
  • 7-10 years of progressive clinical leadership experience in behavioral health or substance use disorder settings
  • Demonstrated experience with regulatory bodies such as OMHSAS, DDAP, CARF, and other relevant licensing authorities
  • Experience leading multi-site or multi-state clinical operations preferred
