Jobbeschreibung

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Principal, Clinical Strategy and Execution based in the United States.

This is a senior individual contributor role responsible for shaping how a growing clinical organization operates and scales.

You will build the governance infrastructure that enables clinical teams to make fast, clear, and informed strategic decisions.

The role spans clinical governance, operating rhythms, OKRs, policies, risk management, and strategic clinical programs.

You will work closely with senior clinical leaders while partnering across Compliance, Operations, Legal, Product, Data, Growth, and other teams.

As new care and referral models are introduced, you will help establish the protocols, escalation pathways, and standards needed to scale safely.

Success requires strong program leadership, operational rigor, clinical judgement, and the ability to influence without formal authority.

This is an opportunity to help shape the systems that support accessible, high-quality mental healthcare at significant scale.

Accountabilities
  • Lead clinical governance committee operations, including charters, membership, meeting cadences, agendas, pre-reads, minutes, decision logs, and action items, ensuring commitments are followed through to completion.
  • Own the clinical organization's operating rhythm, including staff meetings, planning sessions, offsites, cross-functional forums, and internal communications.
  • Manage the clinical OKR cycle end to end, supporting objective development and calibration, aligning goals with broader organizational priorities, establishing data-driven baselines and targets, coordinating resources, tracking progress, scoring results, and leading retrospectives.
  • Maintain the clinical organization's OKR source of truth and proactively identify objectives that are off track, providing recommendations for corrective action.
  • Own the clinical policy lifecycle, from intake and drafting through subject-matter review, approval, version control, effective dates, scheduled reviews, enablement, distribution, attestation, and training.
  • Coordinate external-facing policy and regulatory work as directed by clinical leadership.
  • Oversee execution of clinical programs by managing plans, milestones, dependencies, owners, metrics, reporting, escalations, and cross-functional coordination while clinical leaders retain accountability for clinical decisions and outcomes.
  • Systematize clinical risk management by maintaining risk-register entries, coordinating intake and triage, supporting consistent scoring and documentation, assigning owners and mitigations, and reporting risks to clinical leadership.
  • Coordinate clinical participation in compliance-led audits and other risk-management activities.
  • Serve as the primary operational interface between the clinical organization and cross-functional partners, including Compliance, Operations, Legal, Product, Growth, Data, and other teams.
  • Build scalable systems and processes that allow clinical governance and strategic execution to evolve alongside organizational growth, new service lines, and an expanding regulatory environment.
Requirements
  • Active clinical license as a master's-level therapist (LCSW, LPC, LMFT), doctoral-level clinical psychologist (PhD/PsyD), or psychiatric clinician (PMHNP-BC, MD/DO).
  • 7 years of professional experience in mental health or clinical settings.
  • Demonstrated experience building, leading, or operating clinical programs at scale, ideally within a technology-enabled healthcare environment.
  • Experience with clinical governance, policy development, risk management, accreditation, audits, or similar healthcare oversight processes.
  • Strong program-management skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives, dependencies, milestones, and stakeholders.
  • Exceptional operational rigor and attention to detail, with the ability to establish durable systems and anticipate issues before they require senior leadership intervention.
  • Proven ability to drive accountability and deliver results without relying on formal authority, while maintaining strong relationships with senior clinicians and cross-functional partners.
  • Strong analytical and data-informed decision-making skills, including experience establishing baselines, defining targets, monitoring performance, and communicating progress through measurable outcomes.
  • Comfort operating in ambiguous, fast-changing environments with a builder's mindset and a willingness to create processes and infrastructure from the ground up.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex clinical and operational topics into clear decisions, actions, and documentation.
  • A genuine commitment to improving access to affordable, high-quality mental healthcare and motivation to solve complex challenges affecting the delivery of care.
Benefits
  • Base salary range of $144,000--$280,000, with compensation determined based on qualifications, experience, geographic location, and other relevant factors.
  • Equity compensation and meaningful ownership opportunities.
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance.
  • HSA/FSA options.
  • 401(k) retirement savings plan.
  • Work-from-home stipend.
  • Therapy reimbursement.
  • 16 weeks of parental leave for eligible employees.
  • Carrot Fertility annual reimbursement and membership.
  • 13 paid holidays annually, plus a holiday break during the week between December 25 and December 31.
  • Flexible paid time off (PTO).
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
  • Training and professional development opportunities.
  • A remote-first work environment with flexibility designed to support effective collaboration and sustainable performance.
