Qualifikationen

• Master's degree in Human Services is required.
• Must hold one of the North Carolina licenses: LCSW or LCMHC.
• Remote/work-from-home services are possible; North Carolina resident required.
• Licensure must be maintained per licensing board requirements.

Aufgaben

• Provide outpatient behavioral health services to all ages.
• Interview individuals and families to identify problems and assign DSM diagnoses.
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy.
• Assess psychiatric crises and provide crisis intervention with psychiatrists.

• Refer to outside agencies and provide confidential information.
• Provide crisis assessments, stabilization, and service coordination.
• Provide Emergency Services coverage or after-hours/on-call support as needed.

• Participate in continuous quality improvement activities.

Jobbeschreibung

• Provide outpatient behavioral health services to people of all ages experiencing psychological difficulties


• Interview individuals and families to identify presenting problems, assess mental status and dangerousness, gather psychosocial history, and assign accurate DSM diagnoses


• Provide individual, group, and family therapy using person-centered philosophies and best practices


• Assess psychiatric crises and provide crisis intervention in collaboration with psychiatrists


• Maintain medical records in compliance with state, federal, and agency guidelines


• Refer individuals and families to appropriate outside agencies and provide confidential information


• Provide crisis assessments, stabilization, and service coordination


• Provide Emergency Services coverage or backup during clinical hours and on-call coverage after hours and weekends as needed


• Maintain licensure and attend trainings and seminars


• Maintain positive working relationships with communities served, individuals, families, staff, agencies, organizations, funding resources, and human service agencies


• Participate in continuous quality improvement activities


• Provide clinical consultation to Monarch professionals


• Drive and travel to community locations, agencies, and outreach destinations as assigned

Requirements

• Masters: Human Services (Required)


• One of the following North Carolina licenses required: LCSW or LCMHC


• Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) certification from the State Board of Licensed Professional Counselors, or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) certification from the State Social Work Certification and Licensure Board


• Counseling/Therapy Experience is not required


• Must be a North Carolina resident


• Ability to provide remote/work-from-home services


• Ability to maintain licensure as required by the licensing board


• Ability to attend educational trainings and seminars


• Knowledge of current behavioral health best practices


• Ability to comply with agency policies and procedures


• Ability to drive and travel to community locations, agencies, and outreach destinations as assigned
