Job summary

ALTEN invites applications for a V.I.E Electronics Development Engineer - Medical Devices in Germany. Analyze electronic assemblies, advance circuits and control components, and manage lifecycle changes from development to production.

You will verify EMC and integration tests, document results, and support changes through to series production. EU graduates aged 18-28, with Electrical/Mechatronics backgrounds and English/German fluency, are welcome.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics or a comparable field.
• Experience in development, analysis and optimization of electronic circuits and assemblies.
• Ability to manage lifecycle, change and obsolescence topics and produce regulatory documentation.

Responsibilities

• Analyze electronic assemblies and assess changes throughout the product lifecycle.
• Develop existing circuits and control components; implement design modifications.
• Plan and perform verification, functional and EMC tests; document results.

Are you a graduate with EU citizenship aged 18 to 28 and want to gain work experience in Germany?

• analyze electronic assemblies and assess technical changes throughout the product lifecycle
• further develop existing circuits and control components and implement required design modifications
• manage lifecycle and obsolescence topics, identify alternative components, and evaluate their technical suitability
• plan and perform verification, functional, and integration tests, including EMC testing, and document the results
• integrate modified assemblies into existing systems and develop appropriate test equipment and test environments
• prepare technical, normative, and regulatory documentation and support changes through to series production

YOU...

• fulfill the general V.I.E program requirements (EU-graduate, aged between 18 and 28 years)
• hold a degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a comparable field
• have experience in the development, analysis, and optimization of electronic circuits and assemblies
• ideally possess knowledge of lifecycle, change, and obsolescence management for electronic products
• have experience in verification, testing, system integration, and EMC, ideally within a regulated environment or the medical device industry
• work in a structured and independent manner and have experience with both technical and regulatory development documentation
• are fluent in English andGerman
