Responsibilities

• Responsible for the pre-assembly and integration of mechanical components such as brackets, spacers, and fastening systems.
• Install and route electrical components within complex system architectures.
• Integrate test and measurement equipment, including sensors, thermistors, heaters, and accelerometers.
• Perform electrical and mechanical assembly work in accordance with space industry standards.
• Support verification, testing, and quality assurance activities.

Candidate Profile

• Fulfill the general V.I.E program requirements (EU graduate, aged between 18 and 28 years).
• Have successfully completed training in Electrical Engineering (e.g., technician) or a comparable qualification.
• Have hands‑on experience with cabling and connection technologies such as crimping, clamping, and soldering.
• Are familiar with electrical integration, including connectors, grounding systems, and wiring.
• Have experience using mechanical assembly tools like torque tools and fastening systems.
• Are experienced in handling measurement and test equipment, including sensor systems and temperature measurement tools.
• Ideally have knowledge of ESA‑certified processes in electrical and mechanical integration.
• Have strong communication skills in English, German is a plus, and a collaborative approach.
