Job summary

ALTEN is seeking a VIE System Engineer Obsolescence in Hamburg to derive requirements, perform V&V activities, and evaluate electrical and hardware systems in a collaborative, cross-functional setting. You will create and maintain documentation, while leveraging IBM DOORS and MS Office/Google Workspace tools.

• Hold a master's degree in electrical engineering, electronics, telecommunications, or a comparable field.
• Possess professional experience in systems engineering and requirements engineering.
• Knowledge of electrical and hardware systems is preferred.

• Perform verification and validation (V&V) activities.
• Evaluate electrical and hardware systems within the project environment.

• fulfill the general V.I.E program requirements (EU-graduate, aged between 18 and 28 years)
• hold a master's degree in electrical engineering, electronics, telecommunications, or a comparable field
• possess professional experience in systems engineering and requirements engineering
• demonstrate knowledge of electrical systems, hardware systems, and ideally wiring diagrams and electrical drawings
• have experience with IBM DOORS and proficiency in MS Office and Google Workspace (G-Suite)
• have business-level English proficiency and a basic knowledge of German
