Tintschl Technik GmbH is seeking a Transport Services Manager to lead transport performance, KPIs, and contract management for complex shipping in a large international industrial setting. The role requires a Master’s degree in a relevant field and at least 3 years in logistics with strong MS Office skills and fluency in German and English.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree (or German Diplom) in International Management, Supply Chain / Logistics, Business Administration / Economics or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3+ years of professional experience in Logistics.
• Strong transport management experience; experience with shipping complex types; large international industrial environment.

Aufgaben

• Ensure transport performance and improvement control; define transport strategies aligned with programme planning and monitor KPIs (cost, quality, environment).
• Contract & subcontractor management: define technical contract aspects; ensure proper application by providers (3PL) and Airbus; manage budgets, savings, change requests and claims.
• Implement financial optimization of the transportation system in line with AOP and cost targets; manage CAPEX and OPEX; negotiate unit prices and volumes.
• Monitor SLAs with stakeholders; perform root cause analyses and manage risk mitigation plans.
• Compliance & Safety: ensure alignment with Airworthiness Authorities, Quality, Environment, Health & Safety, Export Control, and Dangerous Goods.

For our long-standing business partner AIRBUS we are looking for you as a new employee of Tintschl Technik GmbH to join our team as Transport Services Manager.

Candidates must be eligible to work on NATO classified project with the necessary authorizations.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Ensure transport performance and improvement control; implement and monitor KPIs (cost, quality, environment); define transport strategies and strategic planning aligned with the Programme planning.
• Contract & Subcontractor Management: Define technical aspects of contracts; ensure proper application by providers (3PL) and Airbus; manage budgets, savings, change requests, and claims.
• Implement financial optimization of the transportation system in line with AOP and cost targets; manage CAPEX and OPEX; perform technical negotiations on unit prices and volumes.
• Monitor Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with stakeholders; perform root cause analysis and manage risk mitigation plans.
• Compliance & Safety: Take accountability for all topics related to Airworthiness Authorities, Quality, Environment, Health & Safety (EHS), Export Control, and Dangerous Goods.
• Degree: Master’s Degree (or German Diplom) in International Management, Supply Chain / Logistics, Business Administration / Economicsor a comparable qualification.
• Minimum of 3+ years of professional experience in Logistics.
• Strong transport management experience is an absolute must-have.
• Shipping Knowledge: Proven knowledge in handling complex types of shipping is necessary.
• Experience working within a large international industrial environment is required.
• Advanced, detailed knowledge of MS Office.
• Business fluent German and English mandatory.
• French language knowledge is a distinct plus.
