Tintschl Technik GmbH is seeking a Design Engineer with a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering to work on EWIS installation standards for both civil and military applications. The role requires some travel to Marignane, France, and knowledge of CATIA V5. English is a must; German/French/Spanish are a plus.

• Assist EWIS Installation Team in defining physical interface allocation.
• Review content of IDD/IP provided by System Designers.
• Support SDRs in reviewing internal EWIS and ESN/MBN installation and FAI of CiA equipment.
• Prepare reports on findings, non-compliance, and follow-up actions.
• Validate EWIS requirements in DOORS and review related requirements.
• Lead weekly meetings with suppliers, reporting progress and risks.

For our long-standing business partner AIRBUS we are looking for you as a new employee of Tintschl Technik GmbH!

Main Responsibilities:

• Adaptation of current design rules, e.g. AIPI/AIPS from previous A/C or H/C and international rules, in order to establish new design principles for high-voltage EWIS installation, for both civil and military applications.
• Support the EWIS Installation Team in defining the physical interface allocation.
• Review the content of the IDD/IP (Interface Document) provided by the System Designers (SDR).
• Support all equipment SDRs in reviewing the internal physical EWIS and ESN/MBN installation, as well as the First Article Inspection (FAI) of CiA equipment.
• Prepare reports including all findings, non-compliance with requirements, and follow-up of the related actions.
• Validate and verify EWIS requirements within DOORS (cascaded to WPs) and review the corresponding EWIS requirements.
• Conduct weekly meetings with various suppliers, including reporting, progress tracking, and identification of risks and opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Technical or business degree (minimum Bachelor’s) in Electrical Engineering or similar
• At least 2 years of experience in Design Engineering
• CATIA V5 – at least knowledge of detailed functions.
• English – at least business fluent / negotiation level.
• German, French and/or Spanish are considered an advantage.
• Willingness to undertake monthly business trips of 2–3 days to Marignane, France.
